Meet Mikey Spano

Meet Mikey Spano

Season’s Greetings Squanchlings,

We must have been really good this year, because we received a super talented Lead Artist for Christmas!

Meet our latest addition to the Squanchtendo team, Mikey Spano!

Mikey is a Raleigh game industry veteran of well over a decade. He’s been creating badass art in video games since he was 18 years old for the likes of Ubisoft, Epic Games, and Bitmonster (a company he helped to create!) You can find his work in Gears of War 1-3, Unreal Tournament 3, Shadow Complex, Fortnite, Lili, Grav, and many other titles.

In addition to filling our eyeholes with crazy mind-blowing art in our favorite games, Mikey likes to rock climb, eat fatty foods, be an awesome dad and kick it with his super cute french bulldog named Toast. He claims his secret talent is doing stupid stuff and hurting himself. We have to agree. Upon getting hired, he already nearly cut off three of his fingers. You can send him get well wishes or point and laugh at him here on his Twitter page.

When asked for an example of his artwork Mikey provided us with what his children claim is his finest art to date:
